Pike CTC Team Challenge 2008

Monday, September 1st, 2008, 8:05 am [General]

2008It's back again! Pike CTC Team Challenge. Seven teams of four completed five team challenges and punched five checkpoints in just two hours. We held this annual team building event at Pike Lake State Park this year on August 19th. This years challenges included canoeing to 2 CP's, memory challenge, balldrop, bucket fill and the dreaded walkboards. We ended the event in a nice boxed lunch. Although a few went swimming by accident, someone forgot the scorecard at the starting line and one team broke the walkboards it was another fun filled day.

Thanks for attending.

Help Mickey! Local Adventure racer needs help with

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008, 8:47 pm [General]

Mickey posted this and needs our support!

Hello FUN People of the World :D

As some of you may know that this past June/July, I joined 3 other fantastic individuals to conquer the PRIMAL QUEST 10 day Adventure Race in beautiful Montana.

During the race, the teams were given cute little GoPro cameras to take photos and videos along the PQ journey. The GoPro sponsor then processed the pictures into a YOU TUBE presentation.
Now, you have the opportunity to see about 2 minutes of TEAM MAAR's ( Middle Aged Adventure Racers) multi day race experience.

OKAY, I NEED your HELP PLEASE. There is a contest to see what team that has a GO PRO video clip on YOU TUBE receives the MOST views. If our team gets the most views, we will win $1000. My part of the winnings will cover the cost of the snowshoes which I needed to buy for this race. Oh, I used those snowshoes too! Plus, you may leave comments about TEAM MAAR and the video clip at the You Tube viewing site. The contest goes until Sept. 1st
HERE IS THE LINK to our YouTube

So, if you could please view Team #60 You Tube video, that would be awesome. Heck, check it out several times. I am just sharin' the joy of my craziness with others!! 8)
THANK YOU
Live Brave
